Lakota Gurardsman F142 - P22002 has a very gentle disposition. He produces birth weights averaging 62 - 75 pounds. His disposition is passed on to his progeny, producing docile animals with width and length.

F142 was born in 1999. We have used him since 2001; he has been an outstanding bull for our herd. Unfortunately, F142 (AKA Big Boy) is no longer with us, but lived a great life to an old age. We have many females here on the farm that were sired by him.

CRT N306, Son of F142
Like his sire, N306 has a gentle disposition. We used him for a few years on heifers. He now lives in Arkansas and is known as "Chunky". Unfortunately he was struck by lightening and has gone on to greener pastures. We do, however, have some of his girls with us.

Lenoir Creek William AKA "Bill", son of F142
Bill has been welcomed back into our herd. He was bought and was busy at another farm for a few years. We like him so much we decided to bring him back home. He is now 10 years old and in our opinion, a very fine example of what a Devon bull should look like. He is currently with a few select animals from our herd.

Bubba is an (AI) son out of Lakota’s Buckeye P60 (P22126), his Dam his CRT Lenoir Glorious Ruby (P39343). He is a polled bull. He is thick from neck to rump. In our opinion a magnificent Devon bull. He is proving to be a great addition to our herd.

Sunset Returns Home
After 6 and 1/2 years of development by Scott Paquin, of Firefly Devons, Lenoir’s Red Sunset is returning to the home of his birth. This November of 2015, Charlie & Martha Trantham of Lenoir’s Creek Devon welcomed the 2015 RDUSA Grand Champion Bull back to their farm in Canton, NC.
This polled bull is the progeny of Lakota Joe M76 (P22131) and Lenoir’s Creek Maid (P39342). Currently at 7 and 1/2 years, he weighs 2070 lbs. on a frame score of 3.75. Red Sunset has an impressive carcass thickness through his entire length and passes this on to is calves. We foresee similar results with the Lenoir’s Creek herd. His calves will be in demand. Those who are interested should stay in touch with us.
